At 4 o'clock this afternoon I had an idea. Four hours later, the novel is finished after three years of work.
I glanced up from my words and looked down at my foot. "Where the hell is my other shoe?" 
I was going to take out the trash, but inspiration struck until I remembered that two words remained: 
The End.
